Lincoln County Medical Center Receives The Joint Commission's ‘Top Performer On Key Quality Measures®’ Recognition

November 24, 2015

RUIDOSO, N.M. – Lincoln County Medical Center (LCMC) was recently named a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures® by The Joint Commission, the leading accreditor of health care organizations in the United States. It is one of only 221 hospitals named a Top Performer for four consecutive years.

LCMC was recognized by The Joint Commission for achieving excellence in performance on accountability measures for pneumonia care. Results are published in The Joint Commission’s 2015 annual report “America’s Hospitals: Improving Quality and Safety.”

LCMC is among 1,043 hospitals recognized for meeting or exceeding target performance based on 2014 data. Only eight New Mexico hospitals were recognized as a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures®.

“At Lincoln County Medical Center, we are committed to continuous improvement and providing evidence-based care to our patients,” said Patsy Parker, RN, MSN, director of Patient Care Services for Lincoln County Medical Center.  “Receiving Top Performer recognition recognizes the knowledge, teamwork and dedication of our entire team.”
