Lincoln County Medical Center feeds youth in need

January 2, 2020 In the News

A healthy meal can make a real difference for young people in need.

High Mountain Youth Project in Ruidoso serves about 24 meals per week to young people at its drop-in and study center, which are prepared and donated by the cafeteria staff at Lincoln County Medical Center.

Donating food for the young people is another way the hospital can support a healthy community, Todd Oberheu, hospital chief executive at Lincoln County Medical Center, told the Ruidoso News.

"We are committed to improving the health of those we serve in Lincoln County, and one way we can do that it is to provide fresh, healthy meals for the young people served by High Mountain Youth Project," he said.
